Description
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Describe the impact of testosterone therapy on vaginal physiology, microbiome composition, and common clinical presentations (e.g., atrophy, vaginitis, and pelvic pain) in transgender men.
2. Identify key barriers to comprehensive sexual and reproductive healthcare for transgender men—including dysphoria, stigma, and structural challenges—and apply evidence-based strategies to engagement.
3. Implement patient-centered, gender-affirming approaches to the evaluation and management of vaginal symptoms in transgender men, incorporating emerging research and best practices to optimize clinical care.
