COVID-19 Protocol

IDSOG COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOL

IDSOG is fully committed to holding a successful in-person Annual Meeting in Denver in July 2023. The health and safety of our meeting attendees is our first priority as we continue preparing for the 2023 IDSOG Annual Meeting. IDSOG is carefully monitoring Colorado State guidelines and those issued by the CDC as they relate to COVID-19 protocols and holding conferences in-person.

All attendees will be required to complete the “Waiver of Liability”, which is part of the online registration, that includes the following procedures in addition to other items:

  • All meeting attendees attest they have received the COVID-19 vaccine and any recommended boosters by the CDC.
  • All meeting attendees are advised that they may be asked for proof of vaccination by the hotel, and local businesses/restaurants based on local vaccination requirements in State of Colorado, and the city of Denver.
  • Regardless of vaccination status, registrants are asked to refrain from attending the meeting if they have been exposed to COVID-19 within the 14 days preceding the meeting, or are exhibiting any of the following symptoms that the CDC recognizes as being associated with COVID-19, including but not limited to: fever, cough, nasal congestion, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell.
  • Proper face masks are required to be worn when indoors at all IDSOG Annual Meeting activities.

IDSOG will continuously evaluate and update our plans and guidelines as new information becomes available, and as environmental conditions change. We will continue to share all updates on evolving COVID-19 preparations as we actively work to plan for a safe and productive event.
